Ah! See, the boy’s much smarter than Shinya at being a mischievous little devil, which is an incredible feat in its own right. The elder nods, completely in favor in making as much trouble for Mika’s father as possible without the younger Shindou getting in hot water. If the kid gets a few treats out the deal, then it’s just that much better.
Of course, the responsible part of Shinya keeps him frowning. “Is it safe for you to leave the house that way, though? I don’t want you to get hurt over me wanting to get some sunshine and ice cream.”
☆彡 Mika tilted his head in consideration. His new way of sneaking out was more risky than the old one, yes, but it had yet to be discovered and he had yet to get hurt; granted, he was certain Shinya wouldn’t approve of it, but the boy hadn’t told him the way either.
“Yeah, it’s fine. I’ll meet you in the front?” His window was at the back of the house, so that would work well. He didn’t want to get Shinya all worried over the excursion, and getting some fresh air would be nice. Ice cream sounded even better. Standing up, the boy stretched his arms above his head before staring down at the elder, intent.
