incantaintions;

              The older looks dubious for a minute, but
             sighs – it sounded like Mika was just as
             invested in wanting to go out for a change
             as he was, so how could he deny him that?
             Other than saying ‘No’, of course. He runs a
             hand through his hair before standing and
             stretching, giving the younger a bit of a stare.

             “Alright,” he concedes, folding his arms
             across his chest. “But if I hear a scream, I’m
             going to scream too.” He might’ve been joking,
             maybe, but not even Shinya’s sure what he’d
             do if Mika fell or otherwise got injured. Mika’s
             hair gets a good luck pat before Shinya turns
             to move to put on his shoes and wait outside.

☆彡 As the other left, the boy locked the door behind him, then grabbed his shoes and dashed up to his bedroom, slipping them on before pushing his window open. He climbed out, and once he had a secure grip on the vine fencing that ran up the side of the house, he closed the window most of the way and made his way to the ground.

His feet hit the grass. Satisfied, he ran to the front of the house to meet his babysitter. The air felt warm on his skin, refreshing after being crammed inside all day. Mika gave a pleasant hum as he stopped in front of the elder. “Alright, ready to go?”
